About Me
As a young lad, Tom grew up loving animation and art. He was born in Indiana and spent his life growing up in South Bend. His passion for drawing started when he was only two years old. Since then, he hasn't stopped. His true passion is character design and animation. Toms influences come from artists such as Don Bluth, Walt Disney, Doug TenNaple (Earthworm Jim), Lorne Lanning (Oddworld Series), and Joe Murray . Tom was born colorblind, which he finds somewhat ironic given his career aspirations.
As a recent graduate from Purdue University, he has begun his venture into the real world. He's currently doing some animation for the indie film " Harvey Putter and the Ridiculous Premise ," as well as tackling any freelance project that comes his way.
Tom is a lover of music (and shaggy hair), which is why he is also employed at a guitar shop. He is a self taught drummer, and it's one of his favorite hobbies.

I’m currently working with the director to design, model, and animate a creature for his independent film “Harvey
Putter and the Ridiculous Premise” slated for a summer 2010 release in Orlando, FL.
• El Vegas Music: Sales Associate August 2005 - January 2007 / March 2009 - Present
South Bend, IN
In addition to customer service, I designed music lesson flyers, created and checked weekly purchase orders,
and shipped inventory.
• Purdue Agricultural Exhibition Center: Animation Intern February 2007 - December 2008
Purdue University, Lafayette, IN
I worked with the direction and feedback of clients and the creative director to develop characters for exhibits.
I created a 30 second short film for the “Genomics eXplorer” exhibit by modeling, rigging, and
animating a character from initial concept sketches. I also modeled, rigged, and animated a human skeleton for
the "BoneZone" exhibit.

In addition to bagging groceries, I assisted in managing front-end employees, providing customer service, and
retrieving shopping carts from the store parking lot.
