Billing
Roman R. Fichman, Esq.
The Legalist.com
Before becoming an attorney, I managed a video production company. I hated it when my attorneys billed by the minute when I called to ask a question. It made it very difficult to budget accurately and I hesitated picking up the phone knowing I would get a hefty bill afterward.
When I started practicing law I vowed to do things differently. So, whenever possible I offer flat or capped rates and maintain an open door policy by not charging my clients for telephone inquiries.
One of the most important benefits of my philosophy is the open attorney-client communication it fosters. When legal questions rise, I want you to be able to call me without the fear of receiving a bill. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of medicine. When you succeed, I succeed.
This is my service promise to you.
