DC TRANSIT HUB
The project calls for the design of a public transportation center located in Washington DC. The site location is on Penn Ave. & 8th St. SE. Our site is located next to the Eastern Market metro station. Barracks Row, Eastern Market, and the Navy Yard are all within a couple mintue walk of our proposed location. The site provides a clear view of the Capitol Building. The aim of the project is to support recent growth of the city and to provide access to different means of transportation, including the plans to provide The District with street cars.
