5th July 2009 Ashbourne Festival
Sunshine and showers were the forecast for this weekends performance but as can be seen from the pictures we could not have asked for more perfect weather. In the beautiful setting of the Memorial Gardens the band entertained a very appreciative audience at the festivals climax; Picnic in the Park. This year was extra special as it was the festivals tenth anniversary.
A full programme saw the band featuring many soloists including: Kevin Massey on cornet, David Sharpe on Flugal horn, Paul Askew and David Pettit on Euphonium. All put in fantastic and thoroughly enjoyable performances.
