Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How long does it take to build a kit bike?
A: Novice mechanics will take a full weekend to complete, more skilled builders can do it in 5 or 6 hours. Breaking in a bike properly is a diligent process over the first few hundred miles.
Q: Can these bikes be registered and tagged in NC?
A: Shit yeah, how else are you supposed to show off your new ride to everyone LEAGALLY. Tons of NC Knocks already registered.
Q: How is the kit delivered and HOW SOON CAN I GET ONE!?
A: Kits are typically delivered in four boxes if all the options you have chosen are in stock, delivery times vary on these highly popular bikes but on average expect to wait 2-4 weeks, FREE SHIPPING!
Q: I have a hard time screwing in a light bulb, how will I be able to build this bike on my own?
A: If you really can't screw in a light bulb you should quit smokin rocks and take up a hobbie like building a kit bike. There is a growing nation of fellow knockers and online support for getting your bike in perfect shape. Or you could wuss out and get someone like me to help you, but it will cost you alot of beer.
Q: How safe are they, my wife says it's too dangerous.
A: Don't listen to her, ALL motorcycles are dangerous, so are cars, stairs, lightning, fire, booze and women. Look into a chess league if you're worried, otherwise, mount up and ride, skeert tail.
Q: I'm 6 foot n' 250 lbs, won't I look silly on a 3/4 scale motorcycle?
A: You probably already look pretty funny, this bike will make you nothing but cooler. These bikes are plenty big enough and strong enough for ya big'n, and you're big enough to whoop anyone who disagrees.
Q: Can I super size my Handknock engine with a side of McBadass?
A: Yep, stock 200cc available for an addiotional $300 or just get a rolling chassis and put whatever you can fit in it. Theres some nasty ones on the road, even a few twins!
Q: Will this bike get me laid?
A: Yep, that's just science.
