Lake Street Lofts FAQ:
Do you accept pets?
Cats are generally accepted if spayed and neutered for a non-refundable $200 per pet fee, two maximum. Dogs are not permitted at this location. Other pet types such as fish, birds, and reptiles are possibly negotiable, depending upon the species.
What type of security deposit do you require?
Our security deposits are generally the equivalent of a month's rent payment, which would include one month of parking if the tenant elects to lease a parking space.
Does the rooftop sundeck require reservations?
The rooftop sundeck is available for all of our tenants during the times it is open.
Do you cooperate with brokers?
All leasing is contracted to Lake Street Management Company, Inc., thus we do not work with outside brokers.
What neighborhood is Lake Street Lofts located in?
Lake Street Lofts is located in the heart of the West Loop, located just minutes outside of Downtown Chicago and Interstate 90-94. The West Loop is a vibrant neighborhood filled with a unique mix of commercial business activity, restaurants, nightlife, and some of the most architecturally significant structures in the country.
Do you have hookups for washers and dryers in the apartments?
We have a very spacious, apartment sized Laundry Center available 24 hours a day which is conveniently located in the building. Individual hookups are not available. Any sink-hookup or portable laundry units are not permitted in the building.
What utilities am I responsible for?
All apartments are equipped with individual HVAC systems and are controlled within the apartment. Our tenants are responsible for gas and electric charges. We supply hot and cold water and trash removal.
Is there a minimum lease term required?
Our lease terms begin at 12 months, and 24 month leases are available upon request. Extended 18 month terms are possible depending upon the time of the year.
Does Lake Street Lofts accept corporate leases?
Yes. The lease would be in the name of both the company and an authorized individual.
