About The Library
The library is staffed throughout the school week by the Learning Resource Manager, Miss Vicki Clark.
The library aims to:
1. Create a climate of enthusiasm for literacy and for the acquisition of knowledge and ideas from a variety of sources, both print and non-print.
2.To enable users:
a)to be confident in active learning;
b)to read with enjoyment and discernment;
c)to develop study and research skills;
d)to develop independent learning and self-reliance;
e)to create a climate for intellectual questioning and development;
f)to participate in the development of the library.
3.To enable the users to appreciate their own cultural heritage and that of others.
4.To provide a learning environment with the following qualities:
a)inviting, attractive and comfortable;
b)arranged to maximise user benefit;
c)a place where the user is allowed and encouraged to be autonomous
