Joey was his momma's hero
There are few kids in this world who rightfully earn the title "Good Kid" in all ways. Joey was one of those kids. He was polite, always had a smile, and always knew how to connect with everyone with an intelligent empathy that seemed beyond his seven years of age.
Joey was a great big brother, and always helped his momma with his little brother Jeffrey.
When times were tough, Joey was the one ready with a smile and love, like a knight in shining armor that his momma could always count on. When no one else was there, Joey was.
Like all little boys, Joey loved things like Spiderman and cartoons, and loved to play with his friends.
It didn't matter who you were or how old you were, to him you were his friend and you would need to be prepared to go down slides or hang out on the monkey bars with him.
