Adrienne Adams - Founder
The "It's Not Enough to Dream" Women's Small Business Seminar was born in early 2009 when Author Adrienne Adams began to promote her Christian fiction book for teens and young adults, "Breakthrough." What Adrienne found was that she was able to share ideas and positive energy with other ladies of vision who were working on their dreams.
Additionally, Adrienne ran into many more women who had put their lives of passion and purpose on hold. Though each woman had a different set of circumstances, the bottom line was the same. There was always something else or someone else more important. Women were waiting for the perfect time and the perfect opportunity, pushing their identities and visions into a sea of tomorrows to drown and never be heard from again.
As a wife and mom of five, Adrienne has come to realize the importance of nurturing her own spirit and gifts so that she is spiritually healthy enough to pour into those around her. And as a Christian woman, she has learned to sincerely follow up her declarations of faith with action.
The "It's Not Enough to Dream" Women's Small Business Circle is a place where women can network, share with, learn from, and encourage one another in business and in faith.
Bridgette Outten - Co-Founder
Bridgette Outten knows that encouragement in essential when one is taking a leap of faith. All too often, that encouragement and guidance are lacking when it comes to women venturing into entrepreneurship.
When Adrienne Adams first approached Bridgette with the idea of beginning a group where women can find that guidance, Bridgette was immediately on board with the idea. She and Adrienne put their heads together to determine what would be the best course of action to establish the program.
Bridgette has recently taken the plunge into entrepreneurship herself. She founded a media consulting company, The Write Offering, in 2009 and her role in It's Not Enough to DreamTM reflects her training in journalism and public relations. Bridgette has quickly realized that through the circle, women have the opportunity to give and receive advice to move on to the next level of entrepreneurship. They have the opportunity to discover talents they may not have even known they possessed and lend those skills to others.
Bridgette is looking forward to the great upcoming events that It's Not Enough to DreamTM will have to offer. Each story of inspiration told, each goal met and each dream realized is a reminder of why the circle is so important.
