When I was in my early twenties and training the kung fu exercises 8-10 hours per day I managed to injure my back. After a year of pain (I kept the training up for over five years then continued with other kung fu!) a therapist went in through my abdomen and worked on my iliopsoas muscles on the inner spine (retroperineal).The effect was.. he fixed my back in two treatments. I said "please teach me everything you know". He began teaching me a system then called Musculo-Skeletal Therapy. He had studied Hoshino Therapy for some time and had added techniques and changed it so it was now MST rather than Hoshino.I gave a number of free treatments each day and practiced the work tirelessly. At a point I began treating professionally and got good results.I believed then and now prove everyday... that pain is mechanical and can simply be fixed. However, the therapy as practiced then did not fulfill all that was possible.The results were not spectacular enough. I wanted IMMEDIATE, TANGIBLE, LASTING RESULTS!I began to use the hand sensitization from the intensive kung fu training that I continued to practice. I incorporated the results of esoteric training from Tai Chi Chuan pushing hands and the hand sensitization of the Ving Tsun Kung Fu.Now when I worked in the tissue I'd close my eyes and began to experience waves of color and "sound" it seemed like an other world symphony of light and sound when I'd touch the tissues. I had "cameras" on my fingertips and could "see" the adhesions in soft-tissue with the same dynamic clarity that I liken to one of those clear
glass illuminated panels that are used in military strategy rooms wherein te information shown covers a huge area in great detail.At first as this developed, I could not talk and would almost fall over as I was also very deep in meditation. As time went on I found I could also feel the pain that the patient experienced.More than simply thinking "wow, this must hurt", I could actually feel the pain that the patient experienced as I worked and every sensation is different. With great detail I could describe exactly what the pain felt like and whether it radiated, felt like an inflated balloon, etc. A note: Though I am able to feel the pain, it does not hurt me. There are other powerful experiences a therapist can have when eliminating a patients health conditions however I won't be going into that now.By now, I could talk, joke, etc., and was back to being a regular guy but with enhanced ability. Now when I work, I can feel with great detail the adhesions causing the pain and I'm able to correct, reprocess and reform the tissue to completely remove the adhesions. They are, immediately or.. almost immediately, completely eliminated so that the injury no longer exists and therefore one is not predisposed to reinjury or pain.The problem is fixed and no longer exists. One would have to create a new injury but would not normally be susceptible to any further concern from what existed prior to our treatment.When I perform the therapy now I can accomplish in five minutes what used to take me an hour or more. Most therapists can feel tightness. Some think
if it hurts, it helps. Rubbing gently over adhered tissues doesnot yield a result. However, making it hurt does not mean results. Results means being able to feel every detail of the injury and completely reprocessing it so that the injury no longer exists. No question. Instant, lasting result. This is generally unheard of.
