Hey I'm DJ-HLS. My real name is Alex and I live in Pennsylvania of the USA. I got into music production in June of 2008, using a cheap little loop arranger. I then upgraded to FL Studio 8 so I could do original stuff, and I still use it to this day. It's my favorite program to use because it's the easiest to use and I'm quite familiar with it. I almost never use presets though. I only use presets for stuff like violins and piano.
I produce mostly Trance with some other stuff thrown in there, such as House, Dance, DnB, ect.
I'm not signed yet, but I hope to be in the near future sometime.
