Why Copper Camel Elongates?
Of course you can easily drill any souvenir penny to add to your costume, and if you have some you love, you should. But most are a bit, um...cheesy...for our tastes, with a very distinctive commercial character. Take that familiar, smile-inducing oval, and stamp it with an older, more beautiful symbol of our travels together, and suddenly the unusual shape is elegant, the metal newly recognizable as precious.
Each Copper Camel design was hand sketched before a master engraver transferred it onto a steel die, then pressed indelibly into a good copper penny. Handpainting is done with durable, baked-on pigments that shift in the light, and come in a range of vibrant shades. All color and adornments are applied by hand--which, when you have only two toes on each foot, neither of which is opposable, is really saying something--and each piece has its own unique, wonderful character.
Like you.
Very nice, but what does it cost?
