The Sunday Flies, formed in 2003, play original rock music inspired by Zep, the Doors, Dylan, Lou Reed and Floyd, propelled by Buckley and the Peppers, informed by the Strokes and Phoenix.
The Sunday Flies have played all over Brooklyn, Manhattan, upstate New York and Connecticut. Members of The Sunday Flies have shared the stage with The Goo Goo Dolls, Third Eye Blind, Phil Lesh, The Fugees, The B52's and many others.

The Sunday Flies are about to release two 2010 EPs, Absolute Freedom and Slip Away. The two album project is symbolic of the bi-poloar sound of the Flies- bringing both edgy modern rock and the redemptive elements of modern folk. Two sounds for the duality of our modern time. Produced _ Rough Magic Studios. Rough Magic's clients include MGMT, Beirut, Soulive and Vampire Weekend.
