What is Bright Starters?
A complete literacy, language and communications programme for children age 6 months to 6 years. We teach all the basic reading, writing , language, social and communications skills needed for .. well life!
Why we are different?
Our classes have been designed by Early Years specialists with special qualifications in literacy and early years education. Each class has its own set curriculum, lesson plans, aims and objectives giving every child that attends the best educational start in life. The whole programme has been carefully designed around the National Curriculum and the Early Years Foundation Stage fitting in with the school curriculum. Oh and it's lots and lots of fun.
What approach do we take?
The programme takes an holistic approach to reading, using all the different types of learning style approaches, incorporating emotional intelligence, decision making skills, communication, expressive language and levels of learning. Children learn through drama, craft activities, books, stories, poems, a wide range of specially designed literacy games, puppets, dolls, instruments, music and movement.
