he best thing about game design is that I get do use my creativity along with analytical skills while creating interactive entertainment; I enjoy the development process where the big price in the end is to watch people play and enjoy my games.

The soul of a new War,
Role: Writer/Designer
This is a concept Ive been working with for some time now, The Soul of a New War is a gothic RPG adventure with innovative gameplay features and a story where humans, angels and demons live side by side.
This story and concept is under construction, when the time is right I want to develop a prototype and finally the whole game. Until then I will continue writing the step outline and content and hopefully someday I will be able to take the game from pitch to production.

Stand up Speak Out
Role: Creative Director
A 3D adventure/RPG game in third person where the player can explore several playfields filled with innovative features and mini games, SUSO is developed for the Imagine Cup 2009.
A demo was created trough a 5 month period using XNA framework to build a 3D level editor and game engine. The game was chosen to enter the semi finals and the final version is now ready and submitted. We are now awaiting the result.
R.O.B.O.T
Role: Game director
3D adventure game in third person where the player can experience medium paced battles in a linear environment; the game provides several exiting features trough upgrades and new weapons, a player will feel that every upgrade and new weapon is useful to advance trough out the game.

The Garbage Game,
Role: Lead Designer/Creative Director
An action/puzzle game submitted as an entry for the Imagine Cup 2008 (XNA/C#).
Developed trough 3 months using MSF (Microsoft Solution Framework)
The Garbage Game was the only game from Scandinavia that made it through to the semi finals resulting in a top 20 ranking in the world.
SJ´s Adventure
Role: Game Director ( And SCRUM Master)
A school project using XNA framework to build a level editor (2D) and game engine for a 2D adventure game.
A clip from this game is also used in a commercial video for my school and the game was nominated in all five categories at the Norwegian Game Awards.
New Mjällengard
Role: Lead Designer
A FPS platform game where the player must find the fastest path to the goal. Just a simple story about modern Vikings and rat people in order justify the gameplay, this was a school project where we demonstrated level design skills.
This level was announced as Best visual style and level of the year and used for show case at game related events in Norway.
Break a Leg
Role: Lead Designer/Team Leader
Break the laws of physics in this fast paced abstract platform game; Soar from one building to another in first person using jump pads, air shafts, advanced air control and special skills to boost your speed. Original and insane levels challenge your coordination and creativity as you race against time in this futuristic city.
Advanced physics creates innovative gameplay: spend 80 % of the time in air and use your Particle Reversal Bat to smash everything as you make speed towards the finish line.
Jump, fly, SMASH !
Our team: DeRail Entertainment was chosen to enter the final stage of the developer contest in Dare to Be Digital as the only Scandinavian team where we get paid to develop my concept in a 10 week period this summer and release it on Xbox Live arcade.
