The Fourth Street Clinic helps homeless Utahns improve their health and quality of life by providing health care and support services. With consistent health care, the clinic's patients live longer and healthier lives and often find the hope
necessary to break the
homeless cycle.
In 2007, the Fourth Street
Clinic served nearly 6,000
homeless patients with more
than 25,000 office visits.
Through the dedication of
the staff, volunteers, and
other community partners
and donors, the individual-ized medical and social support services provided by the clinic aim towards ending homelessness in Utah. Read more about the clinic >
The Fourth Street Clinic has an extensive need
for financial support and
contributions.
The Fourth Street Clinic Triathlon & 5k is an annual community event focused on:
(1) meeting a portion of the clinic's financial
needs,
(2) promoting the work done by the clinic, and
(3) emphasizing the need for healthy habits
and healthcare throughout the community.
Since its beginnings, the triathlon has been organized and run primarily by medical and healthcare student volunteers from the University of Utah .
Over the past nine years, the triathlon has gained sizeable popularity, with over 500 participants in 2008 raising more than $10,000 for the clinic. This year, we look forward to similar success with your help.
