About me:
I have been an avid music fan from a young age and my musical dreams were made true when I attended the Jason Donovan Live tour at the age of 8. As I have grown up I have improved my music taste.
Influences:
Paul McCartney, Jerry Lee Lewis, Kings of Leon.
Fact
Being the front man I won’'t disclose something about me that you don't know just in case it ruins the credibility of the band, in fact "balls" to that, I am a real mover and invented the 'Basket jive' which can be seen at "2 Weeks Notice" performances.
I’'ve been playing the guitar from the age of 6 after my old man bought me my first guitar for my birthday and I have not stopped playing since. I have been making music from a very young age as it is my passion.
I love playing live performances and have been gigging since the age of 11... I’ am also officially the youngest member of the band!
Influences
Michael Jackson, Jimi Hendrix, Sergio Pizzorno, David Gilmour
FACT:
I can play the guitar with my teeth
I first started playing gigs at the age of 13 mainly in Irish clubs around the Midlands. In 1985 I was approached to form a rock band to play pubs and clubs in the Birmingham area which lasted for about a year before being tempted back to the Irish/Country scene mainly for financial reasons. After 14 years of continuous gigging around the country I decided to hang up my guitar strap to return to competitive swimming during which time I got married and had two wonderful children only to be tempted back to the stage once more upon meeting the "Basnett" family a few years ago!
Foo Fighters, Buck Owens, Gary Moore, Merle Haggard, Led Zeppelin, Thin Lizzy
First TV appearance: Pebble Mill at One around 1979/1980
I was GB champion at 1500 metres freestyle 30/34 age group
"“Starting to live a long lasting dream of playing good old fashion real music with some great musicians for the enjoyment of other people, and what better than having your own sons involved too. Fantastic! Long live rock and roll”."
Bellowing Lord B has spoken.
John Lennon, Sir Ian Terrance Botham, Lawrence of Arabia
One of the few Europeans to have driven from Nairobi –to Mombasa and back –to Nairobi in one day!!!! Currently writing a book called "Last of the Sundowners".
I first started playing bass in 2002. I come from a very musical background, getting dragged to rehearsal rooms and gigs with my dad's band from the age of 5 or 6, so I was always bound to end up playing myself.
I love playing most types of music and there is no better feeling than playing some of your favourite songs and making people happy at the same time.
Feeder, Blink 182, Alkaline Trio, Foo Fighters, Roger Waters and many more!
At the moment I drive a purple KA.... but I'’m working on this.
I've playing drums since I was 16. I've got a real passion for live performance and enjoy playing pretty much any song you can name! Whilst I'm probably the quietest member of the band, I've no doubt I'm the most insane! I've been playing in bands for the past 6 years and I'm no stranger to the rock n roll lifestyle! So if you want to hear some war stories, don't be afraid to come up to me after a gig and have a drink and a chat with me.
I'll leave you with a fantastic quote by Hunter S. Thompson - "Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming "Wow! What a Ride!"
Dave Grohl, John Bonham, Buddy Rich
FACT: when you next see me, ask me about my caravan story...
"Thank you so much for last night!! The music was fantastic. I loved your ability to work the audience, it was brilliant to see the dance floor busy all night long. The songs you selected were amazing and we've had nothing but positive reports from our guests about your band".
