At Villa Kastel you can relax by the sea with a cocktail of your choice, swim in the crystal clean waters at the foot of our beautiful gardens or just read in the shadow of the pine trees.
We have one of the most beautiful locations on the island. Views are breathtaking with only the occasional yacht slipping by or anchoring in our bay.
We are within easy walking distance of Lumbarda and a short drive to Korcula Old Town. Both places provide music in the evening along with cultural events.
There are several sandy beaches within walking distance of the villa where you can relax and enjoy food and drink at the beach bars.
Our garden and waterfront is the perfect situation for relaxing and enjoying thr beautiful views. Enjoy swimming surrounded by tranquil views and a pier from where you can relax in the sun on a sun lounger or take a boat trip.
Breakfasts are served on the terrace and candlellight dinners can be arranged on any evening from wide menu of home-made dishes using local fish or meat and vegetables often picked from our own garden.
We have furnished all our apartments to a very high standard so that you will be as comfortable here as if you were in your own home. Our garden is beautiful and provides the ultimate place to chill out and enjoy the tranquillity that is so hard to find these days.
We are situated at the end of private road with no passing traffic and plenty of parking space.
Villa Kastel is based in Lumbarda.
Lumbarda is a small fishermen's village located on the eastern end of the Island of Korcula, few kilometers away from the town of Korcula, in Croatia.
A road passing through a picturesque area of pine woods and olive groves connects these two places.
Lumbarda is surrounded by sandy vineyards with well known white wine 'Grk' produced from the local grape and sandy beaches Vela zina, Bilin Zal and Tatinja.
Lumbarda is a tourist centre. Most of its 1200 inhabitants are wine-growers, fishermen and stone-masons, activly participating in the local tourist industry.
Lumbarda also has a rich history preserved in written documents dating back to more than two thousand years ago, from the Greek times.
The Island of Korcula is one of the greenest islands in the Adriatic sea. It is also one of the most popular travel destinations in this part of Croatia. Like most of the Croatian islands, the Greeks were the first to settle Korcula andgave it the name Korkyra Melaina or 'Black Corfu' for its dark and densely wooded appearance,
The island itself is rich in art and culture, as well as beautiful natural featuressuch as numerous tiny and secluded beaches and bays, small and uninhabited islands and breathtaking views. The main town on the island is also named Korcula. It is a typical medieval walled Dalmatian city, with its round defensive towers and cluster of red-roofed houses
