The Rice American Legion Auxiliary successfully made 500 craft items for the Veterans for Valentines for Vets and got them to the VA Hospital in St. Cloud. All our local veterans got a card.
We had a nice turn out for the Rice Loves Its Kids sock hop at the Rice Elementary School. Our Auxiliary chaparones this each year. The children got a free piece of pizza, candy and soda and there was no admittance fee. They danced from 7-10 pm to the music of a DJ.

Our annual Easter Egg Hunt is scheduled for April 17th from 1-3 pm at the old city hall.
May is the start of Poppy sales. Please support our veterans and buy a Poppy!
May 30th is Memorial Day. Services begin at 9:30 am at the Langola Township cemetary, 10:30 at ICC cemetary and about 11:15 at the Graham United Methodist Cemetary. Following the services there will be food and fun at the club. Bring your favorite dish to share and come have hambergers, brats and hot dogs.
