Upstage Comedians is a booking agency for clean, christian and corporate comedians. We have been booking shows & tours for over 10 years and we're constantly expanding to better serve you. We now offer all inclusive packages upon request (flights, meals, lodging & comedian fees).
When you book a show through Upstage Comedians, we'll also promote your event FREE with our eblast service & post your flyer on our networking sites (Facebook, MySpace, Ning, Shoutlife, etc.)
Upstage Comedians also provides comedy clips for the Donnie McClurklin Radio Show on Radio One. If you are a comedian and have clean & funny material you would like to have submitted, please email us your mp3 file for review. We cannot guarantee your submission will be aired.

TOURS: PRICE SPECIAL! Pick any TWO of our comedians for $2750.00 (Airfare, hotel & meals included in this price) The price may change if you want more well known comedians such as John Gray, Chinitta Morris (previously known as "Chocolate" on Comic View), Ron G (Last Comic Standing), Marcus D. Wiley (Yolanda Adams Morning Show), White Chocolate (Comic View, Def Comedy Jam) etc.
We are able to negotiate lower rates when multiple comedians or multiple shows are booked.
You may be able to find comedians for a cheaper rate; but as the old adage goes, "You get what you pay for." It has been our experience that comedians who charge a lesser rate are just beginning their craft and need the experience and/or exposure. Upstage Comedians offers professional comedians that will keep your audience laughing from beginning to end.
The following rider is the industry standard:
Transportation:
Local Shows: If the show is local to the comedian(s) and he/she drives to the venue, the Presenter/Promoter will cover gas expense.
Out of town shows:
If the show is not local to the comedian(s) and the comedian(s) need air transportation, the Presenter/Promoter will provide roundtrip airfare and hotel accommodations. The Presenter/Promoter will also be responsible for all local travel upon arrival. The minimum requirement will be either a full size vehicle, Mini-Van, SUV or Limo.
Lodging: Room reservations will include one (1) room with 1 king-sized bed in non-smoking wings per comedian. Hotels must of Holiday Inn, Marriott, Hilton, etc. quality and standards.
Meals: Meal accommodations to be provided by Presenter/Promoter for comedian(s) for the duration of their stay.
Performance & Sound: A non-smoking dressing room should be provided near the performance area for changing at least 30 minutes prior to performance. A professional sound system is required that includes a cordless microphone or microphone with stand. A sound check may occur prior to the event.
Stage: Presenter/Promoter is to provide bottled water or beverage as specified by the comedian's contract. Additional items needed are a stool or chair (for the stage performance).
Payment: A deposit may be required. The deposit is to be returned with the signed contract to Upstage Comedians. The remaining balance must be paid to the comedian in cash or certified check before the performance.
NOTE: Your date is not guaranteed without the deposit and signed contract. Upstage Comedians requires the original document be returned. No photocopies or faxes will be accepted.
Promotion Setup: Presenter/Promoter will designate an area with a 4 -6 foot table accompaniment for the sale of CDs/DVDs. The sales table should be set up close to the performance area and near the exit. If Performer travels alone, the Presenter/Promoter is required to provide at least one person to assist with sales table (set-up, sales, etc.)
