The general consensus of the weekend was that we are too young to be having a 30th high school reunion, but yet, there we were.
Our reunion weekend flew by as well. This website will be maintained for a few more months to keep the celebration going! If you have pictures, email them to the reunion committee's Gmail account (1980DGN) or post them to the class Facebook page.
THANK YOU for such a great weekend! People came from across the country (10 different states) making this event SO successful. To those who were unable to make it - we missed you. Mark your calendar for 2020... you will NOT want to miss that one! WE SHALL TALLY!
Our reunion weekend started with an 18 hole golf outing at Carillon. Those who didn't golf, gathered at local restaurants and homes for pre-game parties.
Most classmates reunited in the Alumni Tent of the DGN Homecoming game against Proviso West. Unfortunately, even with a valiant effort, the Trojans fell 21-27.
After the game, over 100 people assembled at a local pizza pub to reconnect prior to the Saturday festivities. What a BLAST.
A crisp fall Saturday morning was perfect for the Trojan Scramble charity golf event. Class of '80 experts and duffers alike showed up for fun and prizes (and lots of coffee)
The weekend was finished off with a wonderful party filled with laughs, music and memories. With over 100 pre-registered, it seems just as many came at the last minute, making it a GREAT evening.
