CORSICA whitewaterguide
An extensive riverguide including 23 river sections of the popular island in the mediterranean sea for kayakers of each level. This riverguide focus on the well-known rivers - Asco, Codi, Cruzzini, Fango, Fium Orbo, Golo, Liamone, Lizola, Rizzanese, Taravo, Tavignano, Travo, Vecchio. The rivers are summarized in 8 regions and each region is and its rvier sections is directly selectable from the menu. The DVD shows the level and beauty and also gives significant information on the described rivers. Furthermore this film motivates to go kayaking and inspires to travel to corse. The DVD is in german with optional english subtitle. The runtime is about 110min for the main movie and 30min in extras. Additional to the DVD there is inculded a booklet that gives information to 8 classic runs and 40 wallpapers and 5 HD-videoclips on DVD-ROM.
After starting the DVD you will end up in the main menu. Here you have the choice to start the main movie, manage the subtitles. Also you get to the submenu and extras. If you select river selection you have the choice to chose between the 8 regions. After selecting one region you can either start the movie at this region or select a specific river section. Our trailer shows the river section "Defile de Strette" on the Fium Orbo as an example on the structure of the DVD.
All 23 river sections are on the DVD are structured similar. In the beginning a map is displayed. Here the section, put in and take out, length and difficulty is shown. A speaker gives additional information. The following movie shows the river section in order from put in to take out at its characteristic rapids.
Content of this river guide are sections in all classes of difficulties. 13 out of 13 sections are maximum calss IV. Besides river scences we want to show the beauty of the corsican landscape.
